It is an engineering service that acts as a guide for industrial facilities during their compliance process with Environmental Legislations and offers solution proposals.

Obligation to Obtain Environmental Consulting Service
Facilities that cause air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, and noise pollution, as well as facilities engaged in waste disposal and recovery activities, are required to obtain this service. The firms that are obliged to receive the service have been determined by the Environmental Permit and License Regulation dated 10.09.2014 and numbered 29115.
Penalty for Not Obtaining Environmental Consulting Service
Firms that are obliged to receive Environmental Consulting Service but do not obtain services from companies authorized by the Ministry under the Environmental Law No. 2872 are fined an administrative fine of 16,082 TL (2021 Price).

The Regulation on Environmental Management Services, which is in force with the Official Gazette dated 30.07.2019 and numbered 30847, has been prepared to determine the conditions that those who will provide environmental management services must meet, their certification, and the procedures and principles related to their obligations.

What Do Environmental Consulting Companies Do?
Environmental consultancy firms in Ankara are defined as Environmental Management Service by the Regulation on Environmental Management Services dated 30.07.2019 and numbered 30847. Within the scope of this service, the facility should be visited at least once or twice a month, an evaluation should be made within the scope of Environmental Legislations after each visit, and a Monthly Activity Report should be prepared.
At least 60% of the facility employees should be given awareness training under Environmental Legislations. A Waste Management Plan should be prepared related to the management of domestic and industrial wastes generated in the facility. The facility's record should be created on the Integrated Environmental Information System (IEIS),and monthly/annual declarations should be made.
